The Southern film industry has some exciting news for its fans. Vikram and Karthik Subbaraj’s Chiyaan 60 gets its title in place with the release of a new poster whereas Tamannaah Bhatia and Gopichand’s Seetimaarr gets its theatrical release date in place. Read on for more details:

The makers of Vikram’s Chiyaan 60 unveiled the official title and first-look poster of the film today. The film has been titled Mahaan and is directed by Karthik Subbaraj. Vikram will share screen space with his son Dhruv Vikram for the first time. Mahaan stars Vikram, Dhruv Vikram, Simran, Vani Bhojan and Bobby Simhaa in pivotal roles. The film’s shoot was wrapped on August 14. The film is touted to be a thriller and is produced by Seven Screen Studios. The music of the film has been composed by Santhosh Narayanan.

The makers of Gopichand’s and Tamannaah Bhatia’s upcoming film Seetimaarr announced the film’s theatrical release date today. The film will release in theatres in September. The sports drama is directed by Sampath Nandi and will see Tamannaah play Kabaddi coach Jwala Reddy. Seetimaarr also stars Digangana Suryavanshi and Bhumika Chawla in pivotal roles.
