Tamil actor Yogi Babu is starring in the upcoming horror-comedy titled Pei Mama. The film directed by Sakthi Chidambaram is heading for a theatrical release on September 24. Ahead of its release, Pei Mama is being trolled by netizens. Several Twitter users noticed that the makers of the horror-comedy blatantly copied the poster of Vicky Kaushal’s Bhoot: Part One: The Haunted Ship.
Netizens observed that primarily elements of Bhoot's poster were retained, for example, the window of the ship, broken glass, and the hand of a supernatural being. Even the costume. With minimal changes, the makers of Pei Mama clearly used editing tools to just replace Vicky with Yogi Babu. Netizens brutally trolled the team of Pei Mama for lacking creativity.

For the unversed, the makers of Bhoot were also accused of plagiarism. Twitter users were quick to notice the similarity between a scene in the Malayalam superhit Jallikattu and one of Bhoot's posters.
