To avoid a clash with Ranveer Singh's sports drama '83, Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's Pushpa makers have preponed the release of their film. Earlier slated to release in Christmas 2021, Pushpa will now hit the screens on December 17. The makers announced the new release date this morning along with the new poster. Allu Arjun's Pushpa, directed by Sukumar, will be made in two parts
On October 2, the makers of Pushpa took to social media to announce that Pushpa: The Rise will release in theatres on December 17, a week ahead of Christmas. Sharing the poster, the team wrote, "This December, Theatres will go Wild with the arrival of #PushpaRaj. #PushpaTheRise will hit the Big Screens on DEC 17th. #PushpaTheRiseOnDec17 #ThaggedheLe (sic)."

Pushpa revolves around the red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra Pradesh. The film will be releasing in two parts and the makers have now announced that the first part will be released on December 17.
