In August, Tamannaah Bhatia made her television debut as the host of the Telugu version of the MasterChef series. According to the latest reports, all is not well between the actress and the makers of the cooking reality show. Tamannaah, after shooting for almost 20 episodes of MasterChef Telugu, stepped down as the host of the show. The reason is said to be non-payment of dues and unprofessional conduct by the production house.
According to a statement issued by her team, Tamannaah is planning to file a legal suit against the production house. The statement read, "Due to the non-payment of dues on MasterChef Telugu and unprofessional conduct by the production house Innovative Film Academy, Tamannaah Bhatia is being forced to take legal action. Despite the continuous non-payment and unprofessional approach, she cancelled other commitments and was determined to complete the entire project. However, since the production house has overnight stopped communication with her, she is now forced to consider filing a legal suit against them."
Popular actress Anasuya Bharadwaj will now replace Tamannaah as the host of MasterChef Telugu, which is currently airing on Gemini TV.
