Custody: Naga Chaitanya looks like a force to be reckoned with in the first look poster of Venkat Prabhu’s film

Naga Chaitanya is celebrating his 36th birthday today on November 23. On his special day today, director Venkat Prabhu took to social media to launch the first-look poster of the actor’s upcoming film, Custody. The actor plays the role of a police officer in the film but gives off a different feel in the poster as he is surrounded by other officers pointing a gun at him.

Venkat Prabhu shared the poster with the caption, “Let’s be the change we want to see in the world! Happy bday bro @chay_akkineni let the hunt begin! #Custody #AvenkatPrabhuHunt @SS_Screens @ilaiyaraaja @thisisysr @srkathiir @thearvindswami @IamKrithiShetty @realsarathkumar @rajeevan69 #vp11.”

Custody was announced by Naga Chaitanya with Venkat Prabhu earlier this year. The film’s shooting has been going on at a steady pace in Hyderabad for the past few months. Chaitanya plays the role of Shiva in the film and gives the indication that his character will fight the ills of a corrupt police system as per the caption on the poster that reads, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.”

The film also stars Krithi Shetty, Arvind Swamy and Sarath Kumar among others. Interestingly, the film has music by both Ilayaraja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja. The project will also be simultaneously released in Tamil, marking it Naga Chaitanya’s first bilingual release. The project marks Venkat Prabhu’s foray into Telugu industry.
