Ram Charan recently headed to the US ahead of the prestigious Oscars 2023 as Naatu Naatu song from his film RRR is nominated in the Best Original Song category. Ahead of the Academy Awards 2023, scheduled to air on March 13, he will be attending a series of events and promotions and as a result will appear as a chief guest of Good Morning America, a popular talk show. He will be the first Telugu actor to appear on the show, which will air on ABC at 11:30 pm IST on February 23. The actor will also be a presenter at the prestigious 6th annual Hollywood Critics Association (HCA) Awards. The show is presented by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulos, Michael Strahan, Lara Spencer and Ginger Zees, among others.
SS Rajamouli’s RRR that also stars Jr.NTR in the lead along with Ram Charan has impressed several biggies in Hollywood including Steven Spielberg and James Cameron. Ram Charan and Jr.NTR’s action sequences and performances have earned a lot of accolades from the audience, critics and American directors. Team RRR ran a large campaign leading up to the Golden Globe Awards victory and will be looking to repeat the success at the Oscars this year. Rajamouli and Jr.NTR have been on a US tour to campaign for the film. A Twitter handle, shared his pictures as he left for the US barefoot and clad in all-black.

He is currently shooting for Shankar’s upcoming film, tentatively titled RC 15. RC 15 also stars Kiara Advani and is produced by Dil Raju and Sirish under Sri Venkateswara Creations.
