‘It’s about the modern-day avatar of Vishnu, film is about 70 percent complete,’ says Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s Project K producer Ashwini Dutt

Producer Ashwini Dutt who is bust with the production of his highly-awaited film Project K starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead has revealed that 70 percent of the film has been completed and it’ll be high on fantasy and science fiction. In a recent interview with a Telugu YouTube channel, the producer opened up on the film and shared several updates including that it is about the modern-day avatar of Vishnu but will be high on sentiment.

While talking to a YouTube channel, Ashwini Dutt said, “This will be a graphics-heavy film. It’s been five months since we commenced work on the graphics and it’ll go on through the course of next year as well. We’ve completed about 70 percent of the shoot so far.”

In another clip that emerged online, he said, “The film has fantasy and elements of science-fiction. It’s about the modern-day avatar of Vishnu, but at the same time, it’ll be high on sentiment. We’ve also roped in four-five international stunt choreographers to oversee action sequences. Everything you see in the film will leave you stunned.”

Ashwini Dutt shared that both Deepika and Amitabh Bachchan have about a week to ten days of shoot left. The film marks the maiden collaboration between Prabhas and director Nag Ashwin. He also confirmed that Santosh Narayanan as been roped in to compose the music for Project K. The film is slated to release on January 12, 2024.
