The ‘Mastani’ of our hearts, Deepika Padukone turned 35 on Tuesday and it was indeed a call for celebration in the tinsel town. Actor- husband, Ranveer Singh played host for his darling wifey as he hosted a birthday dinner for DP which was attended by close friends from the industry.

Apart from the mushy PDA and delicious cake, what caught our attention were the sartorial choices opted by the birthday girl and her guest, Alia Bhatt.

Speaking of the birthday bae, Deepika stunned in a rather comfy black turtleneck teamed up with a pair of leather pants. She accentuated the look of her oversized attire with a statement chainlink neckpiece and pointy heels. Compensating for her not-so-glamorous outfit, she went all out with her makeup by opting for a smokey eye with filled-in brows and hair tied in a sleek bun. With the mask covering most of her face, she chose to go with nude lips.

Needless to say, Alia Bhatt arrived at the party looking like a chic on fleek. She stunned in a black satin crop top from the House of CB that bore statement mutton sleeves and ruched detailing on the torso. She teamed her top with a pair of baggy All Saints denim, pointy pumps and a cross-body Chanel sling bag. She let her sexy outfit take the centre stage and opted for an understated glam with winged eyes and a ponytail.  

While DP went high on glam, Alia’s outfit made our heads turn. According to you which black swan stole the spotlight?
