Bigg Boss Season 11 is returning to our TV sets next week. Host Salman Khan revealed many things at the launch event on Monday. The format of the most controversial show remains same as last year with celebrity and non-celebrity contestants competing for the trophy.
However, there will be some new padosis’ for the housemates. Salman explained, "We all have neighbours of every kind and every hue. Some of us have wonderful memories of them and some of us may have not so good ones. The theme of Padosis and Gharwale is very refreshing and we have a full entertainment package coming up for the viewers.”
The controversial show always creates ripples before it comes and it was rumoured that this year Salman will charge 11 crores per episode. When asked about the same, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor asked the attendees of the event to persuade Colors'CEO Raj Nayak to pay him the aforementioned amount. And Raj Nayak only had one response, "Salman Khan doesn't come cheap." This makes him the highest paid actor on TV.
By far Bhaijaan has hosted seven seasons for us and he sure has things that he might want to change, “I feel the eviction in the first week is unfair as it takes contestants some time to adjust in the house’” he said. Further talking about his expectations from this seasons’ participants he added, “They should behave. I understand that there are friendships, politics and tricky situations to deal with inside the house and everyone has a different approach but they should conduct themselves properly.”
The final list of contestants hasn't yet been revealed by the makers but Hina Khan, Niti Taylor, and Vikas Gupta's names have been confirmed. Dhinchak Pooja's name is also touted to join the list. The show premieres on October 1, 9:30 pm on Colors.
