The suspense over who all are going to be in the Bigg Boss house for Salman Khan’s Season 11 of the reality show launching on Sunday continues. Names like Hina Khan, TV producer Vikas Gupta, Niti Taylor, and MTV Splitsvilla winner Priyank Sharma are almost confirmed. Actor Hiten Tejwani and wife Gauri Pradhan, who are also said to be chosen for this season, refuse to confirm or deny the rumour. The couple has been married for 13 years were last seen together in Ekta Kapoor’s show Kutumb.
Hiten told Peeping Moon.com mysteriously, “I would like to be part of the Bigg Boss house if invited. I am aware of the concept of the show and it would be interesting to be a part of such a different concept.”
The new theme introduced this year is that of 'padosan' and it will be exciting to see how the contestants survive with cameras prying into their every move not to mention Salman taking their class every Saturday and Sunday.
Earlier seasons also had couples like Tanaaz-Bakhtiyar Irani, Suyyash Rai-Kishwer Merchantt, Keith Sequeira-Rochelle Rao and Shilpa-Apurva Agnihotri participating in the show. This season will see commoners and celebrity contestants in the house and this is said to be the biggest house in the history of the show.
Hiten, who has been following the show since its conception, feels that contestants prepare themselves before entering the house. “Controversies and fights are all part and parcel of the show,” said Hiten, adding, “They are aware of what is stored for them in the house as they have watched the previous seasons. So there are no surprises for anyone.”
Meanwhile, fans of Kutumb are excited at the prospect of seeing the couple together on screen once again after 14 years. The TV drama on Sony was popular between 2001 and 2003. It had two seasons, not inter-related, but both times the serial revolved around Hiten and Gauri who played Kutumb’s principal characters Pratham and Gauri respectively.
