BB11: Arshi Khan lies about her relationship with Pak cricketer Shahid Afridi!

During the recent eviction episode of Bigg Boss 11, the contestants were asked to make one shocking confession. Arshi Khan, arguably the most controversial contestant in BB house, took this opportunity to get something off her chest!

(And no, we’re not talking about the Pakistani flag).

Her claim to fame before appearing on the reality television show was that she slept with the Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi. Arshi has been pretty vocal about her admiration for the cricketer on Bigg Boss too. In September 2015, she made headlines by tweeting the following. “Yes, I had sex with Afridi! Do I need the Indian media’s permission to sleep with someone? It’s my personal life. For me, it was love.” The following year, Arshi announced her pregnancy on Twitter and claimed to be in a relationship with Shahid Afridi. Soon after this, in an interview, she denied being pregnant and called it a “false alarm”.

During the Weekend Ka Vaar episode, each contestant was asked to reveal a dark secret about them during a task. Arshi Khan took this opportunity to come clean and admit that she did, in fact, lie about sleeping with Afridi and that did it because she enjoys being in the limelight. It may have left some fans disappointed but to those who are familiar with Arshi’s scandalous past, this wasn’t much of a shocker.

Arshi Khan started her career with a Tamil movie, Malli Mishtu, in the year of 2014. She also starred in India’s first 4D feature film, The Last Emperor. An actor and model by profession, Arshi quickly became infamous for her scandalous uploads on social media and her bold statements. She also faced massive backlash for the same. A fatwa was issued against her in 2016 after she posted pictures of herself in a bikini-burkha-hijab.

Following this, her Facebook page had been blocked. Reportedly, Arshi Khan also posed completely nude for Maneesh Singh’s film, Green Terror, where she plays a female terrorist that seduces Indian military officers in Pakistan in an attempt to draw information from them.
