Since the trailer launch, we've been counting down the days and minutes to the launch of 'Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain' by Ekta Kapoor on her Alt Balaji website.

The story shows protagonist Ronit Roy's (Rohit) troubled-marriage with Gurdeep Kohli (Poonam) and his extra-marital affair with Mona Singh (Ananya). It revolves around his commitment to his marriage, love for another woman that is not his wife and all the complications that come with it.

If you aren't convinced yet to watch it then we give you 5 reasons that will beckon you to follow this series:

1.Mona-Ronit's Chemistry: Mona Singh and Ronit Roy are huge in the telly world. This will be the first time they're sharing the same screen space, let alone as lovers in an extra-marital affair. We simply cannot wait to see more of their on-screen chemistry, as the trailer was just not enough!

2. The Storyline: The series is based on Ronit's affair with Mona, how his wife Gurdeep and his daughters are aware of it and all the conflicts he has to face for it. It doesn't only focus on the love triangle but also on the emotional conflicts that he's willing to conquer for it. Also, the protagonists are famous for being the ideal Bahu or Beta on-screen. With this series, they are not only trying to break their image of monogamy but also experimenting with a different angle to it.

3.Depicting how it's okay to fall in love and out of it: In this Alt Balaji Series, Ronit is shown to have a troubled married life, due to which in course of life, he falls out of love with his wife. It shows how love has no age and you can find solace in another lover's company, as Ronit did in Mona's presence. It doesn't only the skim the surface of these problems but also digs deeper into the uglier and utterly grave parts of these issues. And oh, how they've done a wonderful job at that! You cannot help but sympathize with them.

4. It's a Neena Gupta story (That reason in itself is enough!): We've seen Neena do a wonderful job with her directorial in 'Saans', 'Siski' and 'Kyu Hota Hai Pyar'. These stories also focused on love-triangles that left us mesmerized. With this web series, we are expecting nothing less than a magical romance in all its dramatic glory that we saw her present previously.

5.Ekta's Alt Balaji depicting bold issues with utter confidence: With 'The Test Case', Ekta caught the essence of Feminism on point. Now, with 'Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai', she's touching the sensitive issues of infidelity and the troubles one has to face with it. With it being a web series, Ekta has kept it short and simple without underdoing it or stretching it too far.
