For the right reasons or the wrong, one name that has always stayed in news amongst all is that of Sunny Leone. A former adult star who left the industry to pursue acting in Bollywood has never really been able to wipe off her past. Not that she is shameful about it but it is the audiences here who have not accepted her as an actress entirely, yet.

In an exciting news, Sunny recently announced her partnership with the digital platform Zee5. It will be a web series consisting of two seasons with ten episodes each, titled after her birthname - Karenjit Kaur: The Untold Story. Recently, she was at the launch event of her show where she interacted with the media present and answered all questions with equal thought, dignity, and confidence.

When asked about the tags and labels given to her by people she gracefully said, "I believe people should have the right to say what they want to, when they want to, how they want to, whether it's right or wrong is their choice and moral stand." Though she sounded neutral and unaffected, there is surely more than what meets the eye. "Most of the time I brush it off because it's nonsense... Sometimes it gets on my nerves" she added.
Talking about the web series, Sunny claimed, "I have tried to be as honest as I could be. And that's why I am scared what will people think or say because they'll get to see the good, the bad, the ugly. In the biopic, everyone will get to see Karenjit Kaur Vohra. Karenjit is the real me. Sunny Leone is just a brand that I created. What people see in a song or a film or maybe a photoshoot, it's just a persona."
The motion poster that was launched last month gave us a little sneak peek at the show. But it's trailer was a surprise that swept us with multiple emotions throughout the 2.25 minutes. The first season of the show will premiere on July 16, 2018, on the Zee5 platform.
