TV czarina Ekta Kapoor is all geared up for her next show, titled Home, which will stream on her digital platform ALT Balaji. The family drama features Annu Kapoor, Supriya Pilgaonkar, Amol Parashar, Parikshit Sahni, Himani Shivpuri and others in pivotal roles.
As part of the promotional spree, Ekta took to social media today to post an emotional video of her father Jeetendra. Sharing the video with a heartfelt note, Ekta wrote, "My hero my dad my HOME! We launch our most special show campaign with my dad at d place he calls #home!" She also requested the viewers to share videos of their homes. Take a look:

In the video, the veteran actor can be seen visiting his humble first home. It also shows him walking up to the chawl in Mumbai, where he spent his childhood, and meeting the residents. The video, featuring the actor, as he reminisces the older days will certainly leave you teary-eyed.
For the unversed, Jeetendra spent the first 22 years of his life at Girgaum’s Shyam Sadan chawl and still visits the place on Ganesh Chaturthi every year.
After sharing the video, Ekta also shared a collage of her family, including brother Tusshar Kapoor and her parents. She further nominated her actor friends such as Hina Khan, Mouni Roy, Divyanka Tripathi and Anita Hassanandani to share family pictures.

Home is the story of a family struggling to fight for their home stuck into the corrupt hands of the builders. Director Habib Faisal, who rose to fame with his debut film Do Dooni Chaar, will once again delve into the struggles of a middle-class family.
The 12 episode show will be streaming on the digital platform from August 29, 2018.
