Balaji Telefilms producer and Ekta Kapoor roped in Union Minister of Textiles Smriti Irani as a part of her promotions for her new web series Home. The series streams on Balaji’s digital platform ALTBalaji. Ekta shared three emotional videos of Smriti from her visit to her first home in Gurugram where she used to live 35 years ago. The videos are heartwarming as well as heartbreaking as Smriti visibly breaks down remembering her childhood home.
The videos show Smriti walking up to the society and meeting the residents, some of whom were her acquaintances. However, what really tears her up is the fact that her old home has been converted into a shop. She keeps saying, “Mujhe laga ghar hoga,” and gets emotional and eventually bursts into tears.
