The General Elections 2019 is just around the corner and one man whose name is on the tip of everyone’s tongue is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the trailer of Vivek Oberoi starrer film PM Narendra Modi was unveiled, here comes the trailer of a new web series on the incumbent Prime Minister of India. Directed by Umesh Shukla the web series is a biographical drama and is titled Modi-Journey of a Common Man. The drama will start streaming on Eros Now from April.
The three-minute long trailer showcases the life journey of PM Modi right from his childhood and formative years to his ascent to the top post of the country. It stresses on how PM Modi prioritizes the nation over everything else and works on the ideals of our founding fathers. The trailer also shows the gruesome episodes of the Emergency and the 2002 Gujarat riots. It also depicts the major events from PM Modi’s life that impacted his personality and helped hone his character.

The web series features Mahesh Thakur, Ashish Sharma and Faisal Khan in lead roles. The series is produced by Umesh, Ashish Wagh and Hitesh Thakkar and the screenplay is written by Mihir Bhuta and Radhika Anand. Interestingly, the web series also uses a poem penned by the Prime Minister that is titled Shyam Ke Rogan Rele as one of the songs in the series.
