Nidhi Dutta scouts for 21 actors and 6 directors for a digital show which will celebrate war heroes

Work has already begun on the three projects announced by the father-daughter duo of JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta. Among the three is a web show that marks the entrance of JP Films into the web space. The other two include a historical to be directed by JP and a biopic set in Kashmir.  Given the pace at which the duo works, the search has started for 21 faces and 6 directors for the web show and word has it that some prominent names are close to being finalized.

Based on the lives of 21 brave and courageous officers from the Army, Navy and Air force who have been awarded India's top gallantry awards, the series will unveil gripping stories of their lives, struggles, and heroism. An intense narrative coupled with biopics of some of the most valiant hearts in the nation is what the showrunner of the web series J.P.  has in mind. Given that he has given audiences some of the best war films in Border, LoC and Paltan, the project is bound to have the right mix of heroism and patriotism.

Nidhi spoke about the project and said, “Being a content creator and more importantly being the pioneer of the war genre in the country, JP Films has always picked up projects that matter and stories that needed to be told. Today the web platform has given us the scope in which we can tell so many stories and not have to make movies out of them. Apart from being riveting stories, these are people who should be lauded and celebrated and taking their stories to the people is the least we can do. "

She also added, "Each biopic will have a different actor so we are on the lookout for our 21 heroes and six directors who will be helming the project. We are very excited to start work on this web series and hope that the web space will offer us much more in the future." JP Films has partnered with Reliance Entertainment to co-produce the three big-budget projects.
