After the huge success of the first season of Alt Balaji’s Apharan the makers announced the season 2 of the show by sharing a poster on the official handle of the OTT platform. Starring Arunoday Singh, Mahie Gill, Varun Badola, Nidhi Singh and many more, the makers have decided to repeat the star cast in the second season as well.
Head honcho of Alt Balaji, Ekta Kapoor shared the poster of Apharan’s season 2. Talking about the story of Apharan, the show is set at the heartland of Uttarakhand, the plot revolves around a celebrated cop (Arunoday Singh) who lands himself in a situation where he was desperate not only for money but to fight for his one true love, his wife (NidhiSingh).
For the newbies, Apharan.…Sabka Katega, as the name suggests is a twisted tale of kidnapping. What makes this show a standout, is the fact that top cop Rudra Srivastava, is forced into kidnapping a girl at her own behest, following which nothing goes according to the plan. He finds himself getting tangled deeper and deeper, in a web of lies and intrigue, with a lot at stake. Set in the Hindi heartland of the country, the original web-series truly enthralled audiences with its 70’s style masala entertainment, epic one-liners, and its upbeat retro music. Throughout the first season's 12 episode run, the series was packed with intriguing twists and its gritty narrative was complemented by upbeat retro music, which added to its background as an electrifying score.
