As Netflix's much-awaited series Sacred Games 2 is about to premiere on August 15, 2019, the digital entertainment platform introduced its audience to a new character named Batya Abelman, played by Kalki Koechlin. The platform shared Kalki's first promo on their Instagram page on Monday. Kalki as Batya is a character specifically created for the web series. In the show, she will be shown as Guruji aka Pankaj Tripathi's follower and a spiritual counsellor and advisor. Kalki's Batya will be an essential person in both the time periods shown as the gangster Ganesh Gaitonde aka Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Mumbai police officer Sartaj Singh that is Saif Ali Khan will find their way to Guruji for varying yet similar reasons.
In the promo, we can hear Batya advise not to bother much about the end but to wait for it, leaving the audience guessing whether the makers have dropped in a hint about Gaitonde's or Trivedi's end in the show. Watch the promo here:
