Watch: From Shashi Tharoor to Taapsee Pannu and Richa Chadha, celebrities gear up to tickle your funnybones in Amazon Prime Video's 'One Mic Stand'

Amazon Prime Video's latest venture One Mic Stand is creating a right stir amongst the audience ever since the makers shared a sneak peek to the show by releasing five different videos starring politician Shashi Tharoor, actress Taapsee Pannu and Richa Chadha, singer Vishal Dadlani, and youtube sensation Bhuvan Bam. As the show is all set to greet the audience, here are a few glimpses of the contestants from the show.

The first video starring Vishal in his comical debut is sure to tickle your bone as the singer-composer passed the funniest statement talking about OCD.

The second video presents none other than Richa where she shared some quirky comments faced by every successful woman from an elderly woman from the family saying, Kudi Ka Byah Kab Hona. The actress mimicked her Punjabi aunt talking about her marriage as she is going through the success of her life, her first trial as a stand-up comedian will not only surprise you but will also make you laugh.

 

The third video starred Taapsee. The actress talked about the problem faced by girls when they put pictures on social media. The punch line is Nice Pic Dear. The actress said once she uploaded a picture and someone commented Nice Pic Dear, on Instagram someone commented Hot Pic Babe and then on Twitter, someone commented Eh Nangiiii Kapde Pehen Na. The actress hit back on this comment with the swag saying that she comes from Delhi and that's how she shut the trolls!

 

The fourth video presented politician Shashi Tharoor speaking about his childhood days saying he had a normal like everyone. The politician shared that when his relatives came to visit, his parents would say, Shashi Uncle ko Angrezi Bolke Sunaao Na and the politician shared his embarrassment over such comments made by his parents and how his every comment is taken seriously by even the staff at a restaurant.

 

The final video stars Bhuvan Bam who passed a joke on Koffee with Karan and talked about Johnny Sins and Shah Rukh Khan at the show, comparing who received more views in the show with the punchline Mannat Aur Jannat.

 

One Mic Stand is created and hosted by Sapan Verma in collaboration with Only Much Louder and will be a five-episode series. The show will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video from November 15, 2019. The celebrities will be individually mentored by the wittiest comedians in India including Rohan Joshi, Ashish Shakya, Zakir Khan, Kunal Kamra and Angad Singh Ranyal.
