Bollywood's versatile filmmakers-Karan Johar, Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap and Dibakar Banerjee, after delivering the superhit anthology titled Lust Stories, have reunited for yet another one but in the horror spectrum. Titled Ghost Stories, the spooky anthology, like Lust Stories will premiere on Netflix. Starring actors like Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, Sobhita Dhulipala, Surekha Sikri amongst several others, the audience was left excited with the announcement of Ghost Stories. And now, as the premiere date is inching closer, the makers, after sharing the teaser a few days ago, released the trailer today, that is Friday, The Thirteenth. Promising to be a terrifying spookfest, the trailer of Ghost Stories gave us an idea of the jumpscares we can expect from the anthology.
Speaking about the trailer, it begins with Mrunal's wedding with Avinash Tiwary. Soon, as they steal some time away, the latter suddenly hears a knock on the door and addresses out to his grandmother, indicating the presence of the paranormal. The story then shifts to Janhvi's where she is seen playing the role of a nurse to an old bedridden lady. Moments later, she begins feeling the presence of something unnatural. In a more terrifying and gruesome narrative, Sobhita's tale seemed to bend more towards monsters and demon rather than the invisible force.
