Nakuul Mehta, with shows like Ishqbaaz and Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara, has established himself as an audience favourite and bankable star on television currently. While his suave looks make many female fans of his go weak on knees, his flawless acting resonates with the toughest critic. Now, after missing from the screens post-Ishqbaaz, Nakuul is finally stepping into the web zone with Zee5's upcoming web show Never Kiss your Bestfriend with Anya Singh. After making the audience and fans wait for further updates on the show, the makers, on Tuesday, shared its trailer on social media platforms.
Speaking of the trailer, it gives a glimpse into the life of Sumer (Nakuul) and Tanie (Anya). Amidst a lukewarm relationship in the beginning, they grow close to each other to become 'best friends'. However, they hit a roadblock when their crazy bond develops into something more than friendship. From Tanie going lingerie shopping with Sumer to him crying his heart out while watching a film, the duo will surely change the dynamics of friendship in this series.

Produced by Sarita A Tanwar and Niraj Kothari and directed by Arif Khan, the 10-episode series is based on Sumrit Shahi’s best-selling novel of the same name. Apart from Anya and Nakuul, the show stars Suchitra Krishnamoorthi and Rituraj Singh, who will play Nakuul’s parents, while Niki Aneja and Vivek Mushran will be playing Anya’s parents. The show will release on January 20, 2020.
