Harshvardhan Kapoor, PeepingMoon.com has reliably learned, is doing a Netflix web film for his father’s production banner, Anil Kapoor Film Company. Details are under wraps. But we have come to know that it will be directed by actor-writer Raj Singh Chaudhary whose directorial debut was a Kirti Kulhari slice of life drama that has not yet be released. Harshvardhan will begin a 45-day shoot from next month in Delhi.
Harshvardhan is suddenly in the news. He was last seen in Vikramaditya Motwane’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, remember, and is now shooting cameo sequences for the same filmmaker’s directorial AK vs. AK, a dark revenge drama revolving around the highs and lows of a director and an actor. Harshvardhan will be playing Anil Kapoor’s son in this Netflix Original.
Meanwhile, he is also prepping for his much-delayed biopic on Olympic gold medalist Abhinav Bindra and will kick off the shooting for the Heeraz Marfatia directorial in a couple of months. The junior Kapoor is also believed to be working on sister Rhea Kapoor’s next production based on Anuja Chauhan’s best-selling novel, The Battle of Bittora: The Story of India's Most Passionate Lok Sabha Contest. And he is in talks with NH10 and Laal Kaptaan fame Navdeep Singh for a thriller as well.
