Exclusive: Barun Sobti talks about embracing fatherhood with daughter Sifat, says, 'want to be there for her and watch her grow'

It won't be wrong to say that Barun Sobti, apart from his great acting skills, has wowed his fans with his drool-worthy looks and gentlemanly charm. The actor who is better known for this role as Arnav Singh Raizada from Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon? gave a piece of delightful news to his admirers by announcing the arrival of his little princess Sifat last year. Now, as Barun has taken up the duties of a hands-on father, he will be seen in Voot Select's upcoming series titled Asura wherein he will play the character of Nikhil Nair. During an interaction with PeepingMoon.com for the same, Barun spoke about embracing fatherhood and revealed how his life went through a positive change. The actor told that he hasn't taken new work since Sifat was born and parenthood has made him more responsible. He added that he prefers to stay with her and watch her grow. So much so, he has reduced travelling and outings unless it's necessary.

"I haven’t taken up any work after my daughter has born. Fatherhood has made me more responsible and sensitive towards people. The whole notorious thing has subsided. Now I don’t take a vacation or travel much. I have an 8 months old daughter I want to be there for her. Watch her grow up. The least I go out is meet people here and there," Barun told.
