Lara Dutta and Rinku Rajguru are going to make their digital debut in the web series titled Hundred that will stream on Disney+ Hotstar VIP. After releasing the poster, the trailer of the comedy-action show has just dropped online and is creating quite a buzz amongst the audience.
The trailer of Hundred sees Rinku as Netra Patil who has big dreams of visiting Switzerland thanks to Hindi films. However, her life takes a nasty turn when she finds out that she is terminally ill and has only 100 days to live. Netra is hired as an undercover agent by ACP Saumya Sharma, played by Lara who has her own set of problems. She sees herself to be like James Bond but is treated more like an ‘item girl’ in a male-dominated police force which has patriarchal issues.

The trailer sees Rinku and Lara share camaraderie fit and reminiscent of all cop-bromance films. Rinku is immensely funny and bang on point in the trailer. On the other hand, Lara kicks ass convincingly and we rue the fact that she took such a long time to come back on the screen.
Hundred is directed by Ruchi Narain, Ashutosh Shah and Taher Shabbir. Besides Lara and Rinku, Hundred also stars Karan Wahi, Sudhanshu Pandey, Parmeet Sethi, Rohini Hattangadi, Arun Nalawde and Makarand Deshpande. The eight-episode series will stream on Disney+Hotstar from April 25
