Netflix dropped the trailer for The Kissing Booth 2, the sequel to the 2018 romcom starring Joey King and Jacob Elordi. The new film follows the previous one with Noah (Elordi) settling in to start his college at Harvard while Elle (Joey) is embarking on her senior year of High School in California.
The lovebirds are adamant on keeping their long-distance relationship intact but doubts and external forces creep in as is the wont in any YA romance. The challenges come from a new boy at Elle's school called Marco (Taylor Perez) and her best friend Lee (Joel Courtney) begins to take her plans to going to Harvard to heart. Things get complicated when Elle starts her college applications and has to choose between going to Berkeley, her and Lee's longtime dream - or heading to Boston to be close to Noah.

The trials and tribulations of the teenagers will eventually get solved by the fundraising exercise that lends its name to the franchise. Nothing that a Kissing Booth can't solve at the end. Written and directed by Vince Marcello, The Kissing Booth 2 is based on the novels by Beth Reekles and will stream on Netflix from July 24.
