Bobby Deol is currently on a roll! The actor, this month, will be seen in two much-anticipated web series. One of them is Prakash Jha's Aashram on MX Player. The 10-episode series will premiere on the platform on August 28, 2020. Now, as the release date is inching closer, the makers of Aashram shared yet another motion poster on social media. With visuals of fire, the motion poster gives a glimpse into the world of Aashram.
Allowing a sneak-peek into the aashram of Kashipurwale Baba Nirala, the makers assured that the door for 'devotees' will open soon. "Humare #Aashram ke dwaar jaldi hi aapke liye khul rahe hein ... “Bhala ho sabka bhala ho!!”," Bobby wrote while sharing the motion poster.
Aashram is loosely based on the life of Godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh who is currently serving life imprisonment for rape and murder. The series is said to delve deeper into the Godman culture and the dark layers hidden the veil of spiritualism. Aashram also stars Chandan Roy Sanyal, Anupriya Goenka, Darshan Kumaar and Sachin Shroff. After the first look was released on July 31, the makers issued a disclaimer saying their intention is to not hurt any religious communities or sentiments.
