'Stranger Things' actress Millie Bobby Brown transforms into Sherlock Holmes' sleuthing sister Enola Holmes in Netflix's upcoming film; teaser out

Netflix, on Monday, released the teaser trailer of their upcoming mystery film titled Enola Holmes. Featuring Millie Bobby Brown (Eleven from Stranger Things) in the titular role, the film includes actors namely Henry Cavill, Helena Bonham Carter and Sam Claflin. Suggesting that the film will engage the audience with a layered plot, the makers shared a mysterious code 'alone loshme reeebtpms wnettyrhitd' along with the teaser. However, fans were quick to decode the message that read 'Enola Holmes September Twenty-Third'.  

Speaking of Enola Holmes, the film is based on Nancy Springer’s book series of the same name. She is the sleuthing sister of Sherlock Holmes (Henry) and Mycroft Holmes (Sam). The teaser that introduced Millie as Enola Holmes proved that the audience will be in for a fun and thrilling ride. Breaking the fourth wall in the last frame as she unveiled her look, the film's playful tone and cheeking greeting was indeed a lovely take away. 

Enola Holmes is written by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child 's screenwriter Jack Thorne. Fleabag director Harry Bradbeer has helmed it. Enola Holmes will premiere on Netflix on September 23. The trailer will be out soon.
