The onscreen father-daughter duo of Pankaj Tripathi and Janhvi Kapoor garnered a lot of appreciation for their adorable chemistry in Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl. This film is currently streaming on Netflix which is also a platform for Tripathi’s cult series, Sacred Games. Doing what it does best, Netflix gave us a crossover that we didn’t know we needed.
Making things a bit more fun, the OTT platform teamed up or ‘Boomer’ Guruji with millennial diva Janhvi to learn a thing or two about modern lingos. And needless to say, this online class in session was LIT AF!
Interpreting innocent-yet-funny meanings of slangs like ‘Gucci, LIT, Bye Felicia, Bruh, GOAT, Yeet, amongst others, Pankaj had us ROFL-ing indeed. Janhvi, being the patient modern Guruji, used these lingos in phrases, giving him the much-needed explanation. And needless to say, Pankaj ‘slayed’ the last test like a BAWSE!
