The Coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc across the globe and impacted several industries. The entertainment industry has also been affected by it as theatres are closed and films cannot release on the big screen. However, filmmakers have resorted to direct-to-web release for their films instead of waiting for a favourable time for the theatres to reopen.
After several films like Lootcase, Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, Gulabo Sitabo, Shakuntala Devi, Khuda Haafiz and others, now Varun Dhawan’s and Sara Ali Khan’s Coolie No.1 will also make its way to the digital platform. According to reports, the David Dhawan directorial will be stream on Amazon Prime Video. An official announcement about the film’s release date will soon be made.
And #CoolieNo1 follows the suit.. The @Varun_dvn & Sara Ali Khan starrer much-awaited David Dhawan entertainer will now directly premiere on @PrimeVideoIN.. The streaming giant has also bought the acquisition rights of several regional movies and will make the announcement soon!

Coolie No.1 is the remake of the 90s hit comedy film of the same name that featured Govinda and Karisma Kapoor in the lead. Varun’s and Sara’s film is produced by Jackky Bhagnani.
