Abhishek Bachchan today unveiled the official trailer of the next big Voot Select original series Crackdown. The teaser was unveiled by Amitabh Bachchan a few days back. The much-awaited espionage thriller stars Saqib Saleem, Shriya Pilgaonkar and Iqbal Khan in the lead roles. The series is Apoorva Lakhia’s directorial web debut.
Abhishek released the trailer on Twitter and wrote, “A blockbuster in the form of a show! So proud to show you all the trailer of my friend #ApoorvaLakhia’s new show: #CrackdownOnVoot. It’s streaming from 23rd Sept on @VootSelect– and I can’t wait.”

Saqib as Riyaz Pathan and Iqbal as Zorawar Kalra work for the Secret Unit Directorate of Operations whose only mission is ‘to eliminate the threat before it eliminates us’. Ankur Bhatia plays a Pakistani officer who gets the duo to race against time to save their fellow agents or protect the citizens of the country from terrorist attacks. The trailer is gritty, thrilling and has high-octance action sequences. Saqib and Shriya kick ass in well-choreographed action scenes. However, Shriya’s Divya Shirodkar seems a bit shady as it is not clear whose side she is on.
Walusha De Souza, Rajesh Tailing, Ankur Bhatia, Tanya Desai, Tauqeer Alam, Vipin Sharma, Mudasir Bhat, Harry Parmar, Gawhar Khan, Saba Saudagar, Ram Menon, Ajay Choudhary, Amal Sherewat, Rohtas Nain, Shreyas Zutchi, Akshun Vashisht, Arry Dabbas and Kalpana also stars in Crackdown. The show will start streaming on Voot Select from September 23, 2020.
