Vikrant Massey and Yami Gautam have teamed up for a film about love and wedding. Titled Ginny Weds Sunny, the film will release on Netflix on October 9. Ahead of the premiere, the makers of the rom-com released the trailer on social media.
Ginny Weds Sunny trailer takes us on a journey with Ginny, a free-spirited young girl living with her match-maker mother. She is someone who refuses to settle for mediocrity and wants a love marriage. In comes Sunny, a starry-eyed young boy who is eager to tie the knot. However, he fails to find the right girl who is equally passionate about marriage. When Ginny and Sunny meet, the latter instantly falls in love with her. Is this match made in heaven? Well, the film shall answer it with a dose of laughter.
In the trailer of Ginny Weds Sunny, we get a glimpse of singers Mika Singh and Badshah. It seems they are up for a remake of the former's popular song Sawan Mein Lag Gayi Aag. Apart from the interesting storyline, what caught our attention is Vikrant's hilarious one-liners. Well, it appears Vikrant and Yami are all set to surprise us and shine in different avatars on October 9, 2020.
Ginny Weds Sunny is directed by debutant Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan under the banner Soundrya Production.
