Following the success of Big Little Lies, Nicole Kidman and writer David E.Kelley reunite for HBO’s new limited series, The Undoing. Also starring Hugh Grant in the lead, the series’ trailer was dropped by the streaming giant recently. The Undoing is based on the 2014 novel You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz. The six-episode psychological thriller reveals the sordid world of an upper-crust New York City family that is ridden with secrets and skeletons in the closet.
The Undoing follows Grace Fraser (Kidman), a successful New York City therapist who is about to publish her first book and her husband Jonathan, a celebrated paediatric oncologist and their young son (Noah Jupe). Their world comes crashing down when a violent murder and the disappearance of Jonathan creates havoc in their lives. A series of startling revelations take place that forces Grace to start life anew with her son.
