Raising the bar of horror-comedy, Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani are set to spook and also tickle our funny bones in Raghava Lawrence's Laxmmi Bomb. The film which is a remake of Raghava's Tamil language Muni 2: Kanchana, will premiere on Disney+Hotstar on November 9, 2020. After launching the trailer that left people in awe of Akshay's versatility and eye for unique projects, the makers released the first song of Laxmmi Bomb today. Titled Burj Khalifa, the song is picturised on Akshay and Kiara in Dubai.
As the title suggests, the peppy number is filmed outside Dubai's Burj Khalifa, the tallest tower in the world. In the middle of a desert, Akshay and Kiara, dressed like royal Arabs, set the mercury soaring with their chemistry. Wooing the lady, Akshay dances like there is no tomorrow. Kiara, in her shimmery golden outfit, makes a sight to behold while Akshay, sporting a salt-n-pepper look, will remind you of his films in the '90s and '2000s. Burj Khalifa is composed by Shashi - Dj Khushi. The singers are Shashi - Dj Khushi and Nikhita Gandhi. Gagan Ahuja has written the lyrics.
Laxmmi Bomb is produced by Cape of Good Films, Fox Star Studios, Tusshar Kapoor and Shabina Khan. The film revolves around a person who doesn't believe in ghosts. However, when he visits his ladylove's parents, his behavior undergoes a major change. Soon, he is possessed by a transgender ghost. Wearing a saree, red bindi and bangles, he leaves everyone shocked.
