The trailer of George Clooney’s The Midnight Sky has been dropped. The Netflix release is an adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s novel Good Morning, Midnight and features an ensemble cast that includes Clooney, Felicity Jones, Kyle Chandler, David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, and Demián Bichir.
The Midnight Sky sees Clooney as a cancer-stricken scientist in the Arctic who tries to stop a group of astronauts from returning to Earth after a global catastrophe wipes out the planet’s population. If they return back to Earth they would surely die and in order to prevent that, the scientist must venture out into the toxic environment to reach an observatory that has enough power to send a message through the atmosphere.
