Anil Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap finally unveiled the trailer of their upcoming Netflix film AK vs AK on November 7. While the glimpse of the film left cine-lovers curious with its gritty story, the Indian Air Force was clearly disappointed. IAF, on Twitter, objected to AK vs AK's trailer for showing Anil in 'inaccurately donned' uniform of an Air Force officer. Sharing a clip from the trailer, they further asked the makers of the film to withdraw objectionable scenes.
"The IAF uniform in this video is inaccurately donned & the language used is inappropriate. This does not conform to the behavioural norms of those in the Armed Forces of India. The related scenes need to be withdrawn," Indian Air Force’s tweet read.

AK vs AK is about a filmmaker (Anurag) whose films have failed to work at the box office. He approaches a superstar (Anil) for his upcoming film. For the blockbuster film, he kidnaps Anil's daughter Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and films his desperate search for her in real-time. Anurag and Anil play exaggerated versions of themselves. AK vs AK is directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and will release on December 24 on Netflix.
