Sweet Home trailer: Netflix’s Korean horror series will send shivers down your spine with its blood, gore and monsters

Ahead of its release, Netflix has released a horrific and blood-laden gory trailer for its Korean monster horror series Sweet Home. The series is directed by Lee Eung-Bok and is based on live-action adaptation of the popular webtoon from creators Kim Kan-bi and Hwang Young-chan.

The trailer opens with a young man standing at the edge of the terrace of his building and gives the indication that he might jump. A voice-over is heard in the background, “It’s been a week since I moved here. But that doesn’t matter. Should I just do it now?” He later sees his friend hurt on screen. The people of the town have been hit by a monstrous disease and the government declares a state of emergency and proceed to quarantine people.
