After the super successful seasons of Sacred Games, Saif Ali Khan will be seen in a political thriller titled Tandav. The series directed by Ali Abbas Zafar is now gearing up for a release on Amazon Prime Video. While the release date is yet to be announced, the makers dropped in a poster on social media. The teaser of Tandav will be out tomorrow (December 17).

In the poster, we can see a political leader addressing a protesting crowd outside Delhi's Rashtrapati Bhavan. Dressed in a Nehru jacket and a simple shirt, the leader is extending support to them. Saif will be playing youth leader in Tandav. "Get ready, we are about to enter Tandav mode ," Amazon Prime Video wrote while sharing the poster.

Talking about his character, Saif told in an interview, "My character is Chanakya-like, in the guise of a youth leader who comes from a privileged background and aspires to become the prime minister." Stating that Tandav is along the lines of American political spine chiller, House of Cards, Said said, "I would prefer not to utilize American models, yet it’s along the lines of House Of Cards, albeit set inside the system of Indian governmental issues. The plot considers different groups like Dalit legislative issues and UP cops and the entire nexus between them."

Tandav, which was tentatively titled Dilli, also stars Gauahar Khan, Dimple Kapadia, Sarah Jane Dias, Sunil Grover and Amyra Dastur.
