Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a testimony to the audience’s power. The makers had to bring back Snyder to release his film on HBO Max after a big hue-and-cry by the netizens who demanded the director’s version of the film. Now, Snyder has teased Jared Leto’s Joker’s new look on Twitter.
When Justice League was originally in production, it was rumoured that Leto’s Joker would be making a return to the film after Suicide Squad. However, due to Justice League’s numerous cuts and edits, Joker did not make it to the theatrical release, but looks like Snyder is bringing back the clown prince of crime to battle it out with the gang of superheroes in the film.
Amazing character you created. Honored to have our worlds collide. @DavidAyerMovies @JaredLeto pic.twitter.com/6FubzkPh4Y

Snyder shared the tweet with a photo of a gloved hand holding a Joker card as well as a blurry image of Leto in the background. He also tagged Leto and Suicide Squad director David Ayer in the tweet. Leto’s Joker sports longer hair, more traditional makeup and maybe a few lesser tattoos.
Snyder’s Justice League also stars Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher and Henry Cavill. It will be released in its full, reedited form, on HBO Max on March 18, 2021.
