Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man season 2 was much awaited by fans. The series that marks South actress Samantha Akkineni's digital debut was scheduled to release on February 12. However, there is a slight change in the schedule. The Family Man 2 has been postponed by a few months and now, it will premiere on Amazon Prime Video in Summer 2021.
Director duo Raj & DK, on Instagram, issued a statement that read, "We know you all have been eagerly waiting for the new season of The Family Man. We are truly grateful and humbled by all the love! We have an update for you. The Family Man Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video this summer! We have been working super hard to get you a kickass season. And we are pretty sure you will love it. Can't wait to bring it to you."
Reportedly, the change is date is because of the ongoing controversies around Amazon Prime's two major shows- Tandav and Mirzapur. The new release date of The Family Man 2 is yet to be announced.
