Imaad Shah’s Aijaz and Suhas Ahuja’s Hemant present contrasting personalities in ‘The Married Woman’

The viewers have been acquainted with the central characters – Astha (Ridhi Dogra) and Peeplika (Monica Dogra) of ALTBalaji's much-talked-about show, The Married Woman. Now, the makers have revealed the character introduction videos of the other two pivotal characters – Aijaz and Hemant, an integral part of Astha's life.

Aijaz, portrayed by Imaad Shah, is an artist and free-flowing thinker. He sees Astha in intangible shackles, bound by conformity. Aijaz is the catalyst who inspires Astha to step out of her comfort zone. Aijaz's words might seem complicated, but he is the kind of person who enjoys the simplicity of life. He is bothered by the boundaries that society has set for itself and believes a person who flies free of them has truly understood the meaning of life. This free-spirited soul has deeply touched Astha's life.

On the other hand, Hemant (Astha's husband), essayed by Suhas Ahuja, has checked all the boxes set by society – gaadi, makaan, roti; he provides it all to his wife, Astha. In return, Astha takes care of his family and children… precisely the way society deemed it to be…but who is society, and what about your inner journey? Rudely awakened by his wife's self-search, Hemant realizes some need to have no boxes.
