Manoj Bajpayee's The Family Man 2 is one of the much-anticipated web shows of the year. The spy-thriller was scheduled to release on February 12 but got postponed. Reportedly, the controversy around Amazon Prime Video's Tandav delayed the premiere of The Family Man 2. However, a recent report claimed that the series has been cancelled due to the recent guidelines notified by the Information & Broadcasting ministry to regulate OTT platforms.
Manoj, who plays the role of Srikant Tiwari in The Family Man 2, reacted to the report and called it 'nonsensical'. He further slammed the publication for running the story without confirming with the OTT platform and the directors. "Who are these people “insiders” or “sources”?utter nonsensical article without an iota of truth .next time speak to amazon and the directors instead of your hoax sources. Thank you!!!," Manoj tweeted. Director duo Raj & DK also called the report untrue.
