Amitabh Bachchan gives a shoutout to Babil I. Khan and Tripti Dimri's Qala, says 'looking quite different'

Late actor Irrfan's son Babil I. Khan is making his acting debut in Anushka Sharma-produced Netflix film, Qala. The film also reunites Tripti Dimri with her Bulbbul director Anvitaa Dutt. The shoot of Qala is going on in Kashmir currently. Recently, Netflix shared its first announcement teaser. Indeed, the video that shows snow-capped mountains and unveils Tripti and Babil's looks was caught much attention. 

While fans are excited for Qala, a big shoutout came from none other than Amitabh Bachchan. The megastar lauded Anvitaa and called the film 'different'. Sharing the teaser, he wrote, "Anvita ji .. Wishing all the very best .. looking quite different .. good to see the making as well .. " Anushka, Tripti and Babil thanked Mr. Bachchan.

PeepingMoon.com, exclusively on April 10, revealed that Qala is set in the same zone as Bulbbul, the Netflix film that changed the game for Tripti. Qala is a beautiful, heartbreaking story about a daughter who craves her mother’s love. The release date of the film is yet to be announced.
