Neena Gupta, Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet Singh will be seen in the lead in Kaashvie Nair's directorial debut, Sardar Ka Grandson. The film will release on Netflix on May 18. The makers of the cross-border drama released the trailer on April 21. Now, the first song from Sardar Ka Grandson has dropped on social media. Titled Jee Ni Karda, it is sung by Jass Manak, Manak -E and Nikhita Gandhi. It is a remix of a popular Punjabi song and Tanisk Bagchi has recreated it for the film.
In Jee Ni Karda, Arjun and Rakul, who play lovers in Sardar Ka Grandson, are dancing to the beats of dhol at a big fat Punjabi wedding. Twinning in red, Arjun and Rakul match steps along with other dancers. Jee Ni Karda is choreographed by Kruti Mahesh.
Sardar Ka Grandson also stars John Abraham, Aditi Rao Hydari, Soni Razdan, Kanwaljit Singh, Kumud Mishra and Divya Seth. The film is produced by T-Series, Emmay Entertainment and JA Entertainment. Anuja Chauhan and Kaashvie have written the screenplay while Amitosh Nagpal has penned the dialogues.
