The trailer of Sidharth Shukla and Sonia Rathee's much-awaited web show Broken But Beautiful 3 released on social media today. The show directed by Priyanka Ghose and produced by Ekta Kapoor will be streaming on ALT Balaji from May 29. In Broken But Beautiful 3, Sidharth plays the role of director Agastya Rao and Sonia is theatre artist Rumi Desai.

The trailer of Broken But Beautiful 3 showcased Agastya and Rumi's journey of love which is filled with passion, obsession and heartbreak. Agastya, an angry young man, falls in love with Rumi who desires to reach the top of her game. The show will show how Agastya and Rumi face hardships in their relationship. While the trailer is breaking the internet, there are the 5 things we absolutely loved about Broken But Beautiful 3. Here we go!

Plotline

Broken But Beautiful 3 has an intense plotline. It explores the dark side of love and doesn't serve a mushy and cutesy story. Topics like betrayal, heartbreak, anguish, passion, obsession and desire take the centre stage and we are sure the series will keep the audience hooked on their laptops and phones.

Sidharth Shukla-Sonia Rathee and their chemistry

Sidharth, as the 'angry young man' Agastya Rao has nailed it and there is no denial about it. His eyes speak volumes about the emotions the character is experiencing. Channelling his inner Kabir Singh, Sidharth has delivered yet another fabulous performance. Right from his cool swag to the pain of heartbreak, Sidharth breathes life into Agastya.

Sonia looks gorgeous as Rumi and it is hard to not fall in love with her. She is a breath of fresh air and brightens up the screen with her presence. Sonia carries off a layered character with finesse and ease. It is commendable for a newcomer to do so.

Sidharth and Sonia's fresh pairing is the highlight of the show. Be it their moments of love or separation, they bring something different to the plate and we are excited to watch this pairing on screen.

Relatable dialogues and production value

The dialogues in the Broken But Beautiful 3 trailer are absolutely relatable. Dialogues like, "It's scary when you get what you want," or "Sometimes the things you want are not the things you need" and "Obsession never ends, it shifts," stay with you for a long time.

The production value of Broken But Beautiful 3 must be applauded too. The overall presentation of the show needs a special mention.

Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi’s cameo

Vikrant Massey and Harleen Sethi, who played the lead pair in Broken But Beautiful 1 and 2, will be making an interesting cameo in the third installment. The actors, it seems, will return as Veer and Sameera to give a piece of advice to Sonia's Rumi. Not much about their cameo has been disclosed but it is a pleasant surprise to see the magical pair once again.

Music

Vishal Mishra is a magician when it comes to music. The new version of his Teri Hogaiyaan in Broken But Beautiful 3 adds flavour to Agastya and Rumi's love story. In the show, one will also get to hear Amaal Mallik's Kya Kiya Hai Tune.
