Fans of HBO’s murder myster-drama Mare of Easttown starring Kate Winslet in the lead are feeling a deep void in their lives after the miniseries ended on Monday morning. The seven episode series sees Kate play a detective in Philadelphia. However, the season finale was marred for many users as they experienced glitches while trying to stream the show on HBO Max, that lead to what the netizens do best- come up with jokes and memes. Many of them voiced their collective grief over not being able to watch Kate-lead detective series.
The crash triggered a plethora of emotions on Twitter with many coming up with jokes that referred to Kate’s film Titanic. The crash was acknowledged by HBO too as they said, “We’re aware some customers may be experiencing issues streaming #HBOMax and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this as quickly as possible.”
