Taapsee Pannu and Vikrant Massey are all set to collaborate for the first time in Aanand L Rai produced film. Titled Haseen Dillruba, the project is said to be a romantic thriller with the premise of a murder mystery. Haseen Dillruba is directed by Vinil Mathew, of Hasee Toh Phasee fame.

Now, Taapsee has announced the release date of the film with a short promo on Instagram. The film will now premiere worldwide on Netflix on July 2. Sharing the news, Taapsee wrote, "Kahani Aashiqana. Raaz Katilana. #HaseenDillruba coming soon. Only on Netflix. #TheUltimateKaunspiracy"

Haseen Dillruba was earlier supposed to release in theatres on September 18, 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the shoot of the film had to be stalled. Later, the team resumed the film's shoot and wrapped the film in October 2020. It was then announced last year that the film will release on Netflix.

Haseen Dillruba is produced by Colour Yellow Productions and presented by Eros International and Aanand. It is written by Kanika Dhillon. The film also stars Harshvardhan Rane.
