Netflix dropped an extremely brief teaser of its highly awaited series The Witcher 2. The first season was released in December 2019 and proved to be one of the streamer’s biggest hits. The Witcher Second Season’s short clip primarily focuses on Ciri’s (Freya Allan) journey and will leave fans disappointed as there is no sign of Henry Cavill’s Geralt of Rivia yet.
The content is part of Netflix’s Geeked Week promotion and viewers will have to wait a bit longer to see footage of Cavill. It is unclear if more footage of individual characters will be released. However, you may want to watch the teaser a couple of times to catch all the secrets.

The company also announced an event called WitcherCon for July 9 helmed by both Netflix and developer CD Projekt Red, and it seems that a full trailer will be revealed then. The event covers the Netflix series as well as the video game franchise — both based on books by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski — and will air on Twitch and YouTube.
