Today, every actor would want to be a part of filmmaker Rohit Shetty's cinema. The director, who has kept the audience entertained with each and every film of his, is now all set to make his directorial digital debut, according to the latest media reports. Rohit, whose last film Simmba with Ranveer Singh broke all box office records in 2018, is said to helm a cop-action show for the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video.
The web series will be filled with realistic action and a top Bollywood star will be signed for the lead role. It has also been said that Rohit has been given complete freedom to take his series to the next level with a huge budget. Trade Analyst Sunil Kadel tweeted about the same and wrote, "Director Rohit Shetty to direct a Big scale action-Cop drama web series for Amazon Prime video. An A list star would be onboard for this project."

Not to forget, Rohit is the master of big-scale movies and cop-dramas. The filmmaker is known for realistic action and big-budget projects. Rohit has delivered some of the most successful cop-dramas like Singham, Singham 2 and Simmba. However, he is best known for his comedy franchise Golmaal.
On the work front, Rohit awaits the release of his cop-drama Sooryavanshi starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif. The film, which was supposed to release on March 27, 2020, had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The filmmaker also wrapped the shoot of Ranveer Singh starrer Cirkus before wrapping his adventurous reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in Cape Town.
