Netflix announces the release date of Kriti Sanon’s ‘Mimi’ along with a brand new poster

On Thursday, Kriti Sanon dropped the first look of her highly anticipated film Mimi on social media. Now, Netflix has announced the film’s premiere date on the streaming platform. The film will have a direct-to-digital release on Netflix on July 30.

Taking to social media, Netflix dropped a new poster of Mimi that features Kriti, Pankaj Tripathi and Saie Tamhankar and announced the release date. It captioned the post, “Aa rahi hai Mimi, aap tak khush-khabri pohchaane with some twists, turns and unexpected fun. #MimiOnNetflix @kritisanon @pankajtripathi @saietamhankar #SupriyaPathak #ManojPahwa #DineshVijan @laxman.utekar @arrahman @amitabhbhattacharyaofficial @maddockfilms @OfficialJioStudios @sonymusicindia.”

The trailer of the film will be unveiled on July 13. Mimi is directed by Laxman Utekar and is based on the Marathi film Mala Aai Vahhaychy! starring Urmila Kanitkar in the lead role. The film also stars Manoj Pahwa and Supriya Pathak.

Mimi is produced by Dinesh Vijan under his production banner Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
